Very Good in His Eyes

There is goodness woven into every part of creation. Everything came into being by the voice of God, and man was uniquely made in His image. When God completed His work and looked upon all He had formed, Scripture tells us He declared, “It was very good.”

Children are a gift from God, and every gift from Him is good and perfect. Though they are formed in their mother’s womb, children should know that:

  • They were first conceived in the heart and mind of God.

  • He crafted every part of them in the fullness of His love and image.

  • He accepts them just as they are because they belong to Him.

Being marvelously made by God means each child carries a uniqueness only He can define. For this reason, we encourage every child to embrace the qualities that set them apart. Stir within them a life‑long desire to look toward God—not man—as they discover the awesomeness He placed within them, works through them, and surrounds them with.
